Language & Learning Lab

Welcome to the Language & Learning Lab in the Department of Psychology at University of Nevada, Reno (previously Human Learning & Verbal Behavior Lab at Texas Christian University).  We study how basic learning processes operate in human language and concept learning, and evaluate teaching and language intervention procedures. Much of our work is inspired by the writings of B. F. Skinner on verbal and other complex human behavior in the 1950s, along with more recent developments in the field of behavior analysis.
